Loaded Waffle Ice Cream Sundaes
Ingredients
WAFFLES
- 2 cups Hungry Jack® Complete Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix (Just Add Water)
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/4 cup Pure Vegetable Oil
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- No-Stick Cooking Spray
TOPPING
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream (2 cups)
- Fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 (11.75 oz.) jar Strawberry Flavored Topping
- 1 (20 oz.) container Sundae Syrup™ Chocolate Flavored Syrup
- Whipped cream or topping
- 8 maraschino cherries with stems
Preparation Instructions
- HEAT waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- COMBINE waffle mix, water, oil and egg in medium bowl. Stir until large lumps disappear. Spray waffle iron with no-stick cooking spray. Pour scant 1/3 cup batter evenly over heated waffle iron surface. Bake until steaming stops and waffle is golden brown.
- TOP each waffle with ice cream, fresh strawberries, strawberry topping, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and a cherry, if desired. Serve immediately.
